World Economic Forum

The WEF is the leading International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. Established in 1971 in Switzerland as a non-profit foundation, it is independent, impartial, and not tied to any special interests. It organizes high profile events, most notably the Annual Summit in Davos (Switzerland) every January which serves as a space for confrontation and dialogue between political, business and civil society leaders. Through events and projects, the Forum brings together people from all walks of life who have the drive to make a positive change on local, regional and international levels.

Global Shapers Community

The GSC was founded by the World Economic Forum in 2011 as a network of young people working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 12,000 members and alumni, the Community spans over 470 city-based hubs in 150 countries, including 11 in Italy. Shapers are between 18 and 33 years old. Hubs include between 20 and 50 members.

Since its establishment in 2011, the UB Hub has been one of the most active and well-governed Hubs around the world.
